Every day, on his way home from school, Harry would walk by a shop selling bags. Among the items in the shop window was a fabulous-looking sports bag. Harry would always stop to stare at the bag in anticipation of owning it.
The day Harry had finally saved up enough money, he ran to the shop. He was about to make his p urchase when he caught sight of a handbag on display near the cashier. Upon taking a closer look, he realized why it looked so familiar . His mother had a magazine with a picture of the same bag! He thought of her old, tattered handbag and how she would often take out the magazine and gaze longingly at the picture.
“I would like to buy the handbag, please,” Harry told the shopkeeper.
The man looked surprised and asked, “Don’t you want that sports bag? I’ve seen you eyeing it for a long time.”
Harry shook his head determinedly and said, “Someone else needs a bag more than I do.”
